How does our video conference service work?

Call us at (800) 483-0784 and describe the issue you’re having to our intake specialist.
If it can be solved remotely through video conferencing, then you can schedule a video conference appointment when it is most convenient for you.
At the time of your appointment, you will connect with one of our plumbing technicians using a video conferencing app. The app used may vary depending on your device and connection.
Through the app, our plumbing technician will help you navigate your plumbing issue and fix it then and there.

For example, if your toilet won’t flush for some reason, there could be a quick fix to it if you know all the tips and tricks our plumbers know. Video conferencing can be used to give you the solution remotely and easily. It is the ultimate convenience where plumbing services meet the internet!

Other important information about our video conference service:

Not all issues can be resolved through a video conference service. Some issues must be evaluated and handled onsite.
Video conferencing is priced by the hour with a one-hour minimum cost.
Hourly prices vary depending on the plumbing issue and necessary guidance.

The whole team at Thompson is terrific, I first called Hitt Plumbing and that was a huge mistake, they couldn’t find the leak said I had several and needed the whole house done. Took them a week to get back with me with an estimate, I called Thompson after waiting 6days they came out found the leak and I had a quote in a half hour and started the next day before I ever heard back from Hitt. How do you find and fix a leak and you never did a leak detection to begin with.That’s is why I still have a leak and had to file a claim with my insurance after already paying $1000 to fix something that was never fixedSo I just want to say, the owner actually reached out personally to address my concerns. I called around and came across Thompson Family and gave them a turn. From the get go they were on board and helpful. Ended up calling them back later and scheduling a water heater replacement for the next day. They came over as requested, did a full on estimate and proposed several ways to get the job done. They had an installer back within the hour and two hours later I had hot water once again. They were like they advertise, 5 stars. Tom and Frank were on their A games and the only thing that hurt out this was the price but it was still lower then most of the estimates I received the day prior and the problem is now in the rear view mirror.

Response to my request was prompt and our water heater replacement, code upgrades, regulator replacement and proper anode installation were completed on the same day (yea, hot water again!). Additionally, all of our plumbing was inspected, including camera inspection of the waste line. The inspection alerted us to a water leak within a wall that we hadn't seen in our guest bathroom, probably wouldn't have discovered it before damage became apparent. All of the office staff and both technicians were professional, friendly, and kept us updated through the day. More could be said, excellent service and we appreciate all that was done!

My wife discovered a water leak last Thurs morning coming from our garage ceiling on her way to work.She informed me and I turned off our water source. I called Thompson Family Plumming and I spoke to a pleasant female named Val. As I explained our situation she stated she would make this a priority call and the first tech available will see this and come to my home and diagnose my plumming problem today. Lee, Cameron and Cody took care of a major issue that we had at the house. I am glad to have contacted Thompson Family Plumbing and Drain. We had a massive root stuck in a mainline pipe causing severe backups in the house. Lee and Cameron ran 25 feet of epoxy through a main line in my cast iron pipes to help stop any and all future corrosion. This process involved descaling and hydro-jetting the lines which was essential for a smooth surface for the epoxy to grasp. All in all I was impressed with the communication and attention to detail when it came to completing the job. They squeezed me in to their tight schedule and knocked the work out within 2 days which was a blessing in itself. I will call them back in the future for any other repairs. We had a water main leak around Thanksgiving. The TFP&D office was very responsive, helpful and got someone out to us in a reasonable amount of time. Our tech was Dean and he was terrific! He replaced our setup with some heavy duty piping and reinforcement. He worked hard and stayed at it even when it got dark (and it was cold). We used Thompson's 2 months ago to repair a frozen pipe and hose bib. They sent Dean and he did an excellent job...this past week at 10pm, our pipe backed up and flooded our bathroom. I emailed Thompson's immediately, explained the problem, they called first thing the next morning and sent Jacob Martinez out to find the problem. It turned out to be somewhat complex. We had roots, rocks and a sagging clogged pipe that needed to be replaced. Jacob is the hardest worker we have ever seen! This was a very difficult job! He had to hand dig, remove and replace several feet of pipe under the house in very limited crawl space! We will never use another company or plumber.
